We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional individual to join our medical clinic laboratory team.
Position Details
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- No weekend schedule
- Pay based on qualifications, experience, and applicable certifications
Responsibilities
The Laboratory team member will assist with daily laboratory operations and ensure specimens are collected, handled, processed, and documented accurately. Responsibilities may include:
- Collecting and processing patient specimens
- Performing laboratory testing within the scope of training and qualifications
- Properly labeling, handling, storing, and transporting specimens
- Following laboratory safety and infection control procedures
- Maintaining accurate laboratory and patient records
- Preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies
- Monitoring inventory and notifying management when supplies need to be reordered
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Following all clinic and laboratory policies and procedures
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient information
- Communicating professionally with patients, providers, and staff
- Other laboratory duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous laboratory or healthcare experience preferred
- Laboratory certification or applicable credentials preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and organized
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Ability to follow established laboratory procedures and safety standards
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality patient care
Pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, and overall fit for the position.
